Exploring big data

Tomoko, Niki and Sammi took a trip to the Big Bang Data exhibition that was on at Somerset House at the start of the month. The exhibition explores this datafication of our world through the work of artists, designers, journalists and visionaries. Watch out for a blog post all about it soon.

Exploring new sectors with our new intern

Meet Erin, our fantastic new intern, she is over from Temple University in Philadelphia studying Advertising and will be working with us until the end of April. She will be helping us look into some new areas we want to explore with TDL-West Midlands including the security and military sectors. Since being here she has celebrated her 21st Birthday and brought some amazing cupcakes from The Hummingbird Bakery into the studio, thanks Erin!!

Craig goes back to school after a time in Scotland

Craig goes back to Uni, after being invited by Reading (where he graduated in 2014) to talk to current students on the BA Graphic Communication course. He spoke about working life at TDL as well as giving feedback to the students on their current project. They had been tasked with creating an awareness-raising poster and short animation about some aspect of either ‘Climate Change’ or ‘The Refugee Crisis’.

We are also welcoming Craig back from Scotland after lots of hard work completing a bid within the transport sector. He too knows how to treat the team as well as he came back with a box of Tunnocks Teacakes. Yum, yum yum…they didn’t last long.
